Deeba in Munich

Just perfect.

As always, excellent food, this time to take away due to the pandemic. Nevertheless, very tasty food, very nice people, everything was great. Always recommended

My absolute favorite restaurant in Munich.

Lunch menu great, inexpensive and delicious dishes. The food came very quickly too, which is great if you don't have a lot of time during the lunch break. The chai tea was also very tasty.

A small restaurant with a 25-year tradition, an authentic Pakistani menu and excellent service.

For me the tastiest restaurant in Maxvorstadt. Can only be recommended and you have to try Pakistani cuisine (unlike Indian).

Very rich, an acceptable price and a very friendly service. We ordered three different dishes plus a cheese bread, for starters they give you an appetizer lentil bread with three different very rich sauces. Each dish is accompanied by a salad and rice. We ended up full and we didn't finish the dishes.

Very good food, friendly and competent service. A Munich highlight. We will be back!

August 2020: Great restaurant with a lot of choice, the staff is also very friendly and helpful. Drinks and food come to the table quickly, and in my opinion the prices are completely okay. Gladly again!

Very good food at fair prices.

Appetizers very tasty. Just a little too much powder spice in the sauce, a little difficult to digest. Naan and Paratha also very tasty !!

Very nice location and that is the only thing nice about this place! The food was not good and was 'warm' not hot ! The bread (roti) was subpar as well. There are many other restaurants that excel at food and service which this restaurant both lacked in !

When do you have the opportunity to eat Pakistani food? Definitely worth it! The food tastes excellent, contains various interesting spices and is very nicely prepared, free starter included. I can really only recommend it!

Amazing little restaurant service Pakistani food. I met the owner the day prior and asked if he could suggest a local Middle Eastern restaurant from the dozens in the area and he said he had owned this restaurant for the last 26 years. He did not disappoint! The food, the service, the atmosphere were all incredible. I can't wait to go back!

Visiting here and having Pakistani Cuisine made me remember the real Pakistan Spices, traditions and rich culture. Acknowledged that its one of the Best Asian restaurant we have here. You sould also try this once. Gona love that.....

We were here at noon. Very good food, nice service. Price / performance ratio was also good. You noticed immediately that there are many regular guests here.

Delicious Biryani (reminded me of Hyderabadi-Biryani) and Samosas! My sister tried a paneer dish which was yummy too, will definitely fo back :)

I’m a little bit puzzled about what other reviewers mean by ‘cozy’. Deeba is the size of my living room (and my apartment is no bigger than 70m, for perspective) which doesn’t make it cozy but, rather, asphyxiating. The food is okay-ish, nothing special, blunt if I’m being honest and the portions are too small in comparison to other similar restaurants in Munich and a bit pricey, too. The atmosphere is pleasant -despite the super small size and the tables being very close laid out- and the people very nice. Overall nothing bad here but, also, nothing that would make me long for my next visit/ meal at Deeba.

Very good Pakistani cuisine in a small cosy restaurant. A bit pricey, but still ok for good, fresh food. Also: try the housemade Chai!

Nice restaurant, cosy, friendly stuff, food is ok, but not outstanding. Be prepared for all your clothes and hair to smell like the restaurant/food.

I am an absolute fan of this restaurant. Of course, I'm visiting every month. The food is * TOP *, the atmosphere always pleasant and since the boss personally the guests receives and serves anyway nothing went wrong. :)

Mega good eatery, super nice and friendly staff, it's there for the customer. Rarely eaten so well. Were a larger group nobody had to wait long and portions are more than adequate. Everything we did not manage was kindly packed to take away and brought to the table. We will definitely go back if we are in the area.

The food is amazing. The service was also super great. The price is reasonable. A lot of choice in the menu. We really appreciated the liqueur that they offered at the end of the dinner. I would highly recommend this restaurant to try pakistani food!

Good food subcontinental style.

Being a Pakistani, I had to give this place a try. The service was excellent, the food partly authentic and the ambiance relaxing. We ordered the mixed pakora platter which was accompanied with assorted chutneys and papadum, all of which was extremely delicious. For the main course, we had mutton nihari which tasted alright, chicken tikka and jalfrezi tasted good, and the best dish was “daal gosht” that was very authentic and reminded me of home! I’d surely come back to this place to try out other things and update my review.

Nice staff and very good food. Sadly a little crowded/dense seat and table distribution. Otherwise a good place to have some traditional indian or pakistani food.

One of the best desi restaurants in Munich. Good taste and friendly staff. Highly recommended also for those who are in search of real desi taste.
